Sometimes, there's just too much
love
inside - and photography helps it break free.

My name is Julia Zhuravskaya. I’ve been a photographer since 2011 - a visual storyteller, an artist, and someone who believes that a single image can hold the weight of an entire film.

I was born in Vitebsk, Belarus, and lived for many years in Saint Petersburg. After the war began, I left Russia, spent some time in Belarus again, and now I’m building a new life and creative path in Poland.

Photography is more than work for me - it’s a way of living. A form of meditation. A way to feel, process, and communicate experiences that words often can’t reach. Inspiration isn’t something I look for - it lives within me.

I specialize in portrait photography and staged art photography that often feels like a frame from a film. In my client work, I follow a humanistic approach: to see the real person and find something beautiful in everyone.

One of my most meaningful projects is "fly on, little wing", dedicated to my husband, who passed away in 2023. This was my first major body of work - a turning point both emotionally and artistically. I held two exhibitions and continue to explore how personal grief can transform into universal language.

Currently, I live and work in Poland. I photograph people, explore video and 3D design, and dream of opening an exhibition here. I’m working on a new color-based project - a way to reconnect with light, softness, and hope.

I’m open to collaborations, exhibitions, commissioned shoots, and creative dialogue.
